COADAPT Partner introduction – Innovation Sprint Sprl (iSprint)

 Category News
January 14, 2020

Our next episode on the series of interviews with the individual partners behind the COADAPT project, is Innovation Sprint. Here is a more detailed description of the involvement and the vision of the individual members.

Innovation Sprint Sprl (iSPRINΤ) is an SME that has been launched by innovation experts, offering bespoke services to companies and organizations that seek to pivot and add value to their products and services in the digital era. Innovation Sprint offers professional services by senior consultants with multidisciplinary skills for tailor-made solutions to satisfy demanding needs. The offering of the company includes insights & analytics services for several business sectors and lean startup practices for the provision of actionable data to facilitate innovation management.

The company partners are serial entrepreneurs with experience in M&A and access to venture capitalists and private equity investors. iSPRINT develops and exploits two healthcare products (ActionableHealth360o), which involve the collection and analysis of in-home patient data in a cloud environment. One of these products is the exploitable outcome of the flagship FP7 eWall project and entails the collection and processing of data from patients based on a wide array of in-home and wearable devices. Connected to these products is the company’s needs to protect the healthcare data collected and processed, in-line with relevant security and privacy directives. Innovation Sprint has also expertise in exploitation and commercialization process, including impact creation based on the development of relations to potential investors.

iSPRINT will be involved in several tasks, but mostly in WP4 and WP7 coordination. WP4’s goal is to design, develop and integrate a privacy-preserving platform for Data Driven Wellbeing. Both platform design and implementation have been carried out during this reporting period. As a result, the platform is online for testing at https://api.coadapt-project.eu/ . Imput comes from study at UNITN.

The WP7 goal is the work on Dissemination communication and exploitation aiming to ensure extensive outreach and wide-scale uptake of the CO-ADAPT solution. Several channels are used such as Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin so as to disseminate awareness, results and matrix. By organizing a communication strategy with a visual identity of the project, blog posts, social media presence and monitore regularly an online excel matrix in which partners share of event participation and publications spreading information is always a possible and strong achievement while an online series named “Meet the people behind COADAPT” informate about partners, goals, and progress.

“Older adult white collar workers are increasingly stressed at work, since the problems they face due to the fast changes in their workplace far out-weight the benefits they have due to their experience. In COADAPT, we are building a platform that collects and presents metadata from these white collar workers, facilitating analysis and other services offered by the project partners.” Aristodemos Pnevmatikakis, R&D Director

“Coadapt project covers a range of adaptations and looks at the issues that an ageing population face in a constant digitally changing workplace. It is interesting to see how different industries use technology to overcome these issues and the methodology of the project is built around four use cases / applications. Innovation Sprint as the dissemination and exploitation leader monitors the trends and state of the art applications in this field and builds awareness of COADAPT’ s vision and the upcoming results from the different case studies.”Konstantina Kostopoulou, Researcher

“Our software correlates physiological data, collected from sensors worn by the participant, to special analysts/partners of COADAPT. The back-end exposes a Rest API built with .NET Core, an open-source and cross-platform framework. We have developed a web portal for the main navigation of our platform using Angular, an open-source web application framework. Our web application provides data-analytics graphs and supervision services of the participants/analysts with a handy UI.”Akis Idrizi, Software Engineer

“In the CO-ADAPT project we try to utilize and exploit cutting-edge technologies in favour of ageing european citizen. These technologies extend from modern software and application frameworks, developed by software giants like Google and Microsoft, to advanced hardware solutions that keep track of the workers’ physical health. Data collected are then combined with AI mechanisms and eventually demonstrated to both workers and their therapists through natural language and human-readable analytics.”George Matikas, Software Engineer

“Being involved many years in ehealth and coaching applications for behavioral change, I have been involved in the physiological sensing activities in the Coadapt application use case, brainstorming with the rest of the team on the selection of devices for monitoring the study participants. I believe it is very crucial to support employees in change adaptations using coaching and a conversational agent.” Hermie Hermens, Senior Researcher

“In iSprint we focus on Real World Data (RWD) and their application in clinical research and wellbeing. Our involvement in the processing of physiological data in the CO-ADAPT project, couldn’t be more relevant with our target, thus we aim to stretch the innovation boundaries of RWD applications, while shortening their time-to-market. Besides .. sprinting is in our DNA.” Sofoklis Kyriazakos, Senior Researcher
